A floor lamp with a retractable, swivelling head on an iron stem, 43.3 in (110 cm) tall on a 6.5 in (16.5 cm) base. Black, white, red or yellow.
The head extends and pivots, so it serves as a reading light beside a chair or turns upward for ambient light. Plug-in, taking a standard E26 bulb.
A floor lamp that only points one way is a floor lamp you end up moving. This one reads a book at shoulder height in the evening and turns up into the ceiling when you want the room lit rather than the page.
43.3 in (110 cm) is the height that works beside a chair rather than behind it, and the 6.5 in (16.5 cm) base is small enough to tuck against a sofa arm without becoming something to walk around.
