A pleated drum shade on a turned metal base, 11.0 in (28 cm) across and 18.1 in (46 cm) tall, in the French manner. Black, white or coffee.

Plug-in, taking a standard E26 bulb, supplied partially preassembled.

French pleated shade table lamp lit on a pale oak hallway console

The shape is older than it looks. A pleated drum on a turned column is the standard French bedside lamp of the last century, and it has stayed in production because the proportions are right — the shade wide enough to throw light down over a book, the base narrow enough to disappear behind it.

Three finishes, all of them quiet. Coffee is the one that reads warmest against wood.
